What's Included in the $40,000 Starting Price
Outdoor Sauna Enclosure ›
The starting selection is a 5′×5′ Pure Cube CU550 outdoor sauna constructed from solid Clear Western Red Cedar. The sauna accommodates approximately 1–2 people and has an overall footprint of approximately 68″×68″. Modular wall panels are constructed from solid 2×6 tongue-and-groove cedar and connected with substantial corner posts and concealed fastening hardware. Knotty Western Red Cedar and additional sizes are available. Manufactured in Canada.
Panoramic Glass Front ›
The front of the sauna incorporates a full-length tempered-glass door and large glass window panels, allowing natural light and outdoor views into the enclosure. The door can be hinged from either side and positioned on the left or right side of the front wall. Optional semi-privacy cedar-and-glass panels are available for selected locations.
Electric Sauna Heater ›
The starting configuration includes a 6 kW Mikko-NU 60 electric sauna heater sized for the 5′×5′ enclosure. The traditional stone-based heater provides dry sauna heat and allows water to be applied to the heated stones for bursts of steam. Temperature and operating-time controls are built directly into the heater, allowing the 240V power supply to connect without a separate wall-mounted control panel. Wi-Fi-enabled heater options are available.
Sauna Benches And Backrest ›
Preassembled two-tier benches are installed along the long interior wall and constructed from Western Red Cedar to match the sauna enclosure. The package also includes matching bench supports, finished bench-front enclosures, and a raised cedar backrest. The standard 5′-deep models use a straight two-tier bench arrangement rather than an L-shaped configuration.
Cedar Floor System ›
The sauna includes a complete Western Red Cedar floor system constructed over supporting perimeter and intermediate floor joists. Tongue-and-groove cedar floorboards create a finished interior walking surface and provide a stable base for the sauna walls, benches, and heater.
Weather-Resistant Roof ›
Tapered cedar roof panels create the sauna’s roof structure and direct water toward the rear of the enclosure. An EPDM waterproof roofing membrane is installed over the roof panels and secured beneath the supplied perimeter trim and metal roof-cap system. The completed roof extends beyond the rear wall to help direct water away from the sauna.
Sauna Assembly ›
The prefabricated floor, wall, roof, bench, glass, and trim components will be assembled on an existing, properly prepared base. Base preparation—including grading, excavation, drainage, concrete work, gravel installation, or deck construction—is not included and must be completed before sauna assembly begins. The sauna will then be leveled, secured, and finished with the manufacturer-supplied corner trim, wall trim, roof caps, door hardware, heater guard, and related fastening components.
Permit And Inspection ›
Mayflower will obtain and file the required electrical permit. Upon completion, the electrical work will be scheduled for final inspection by the applicable county or municipal authority. All permit fees, inspection fees, and permit-processing costs will be covered by Mayflower.
Available Sizes ›
The starting selection is the approximately 5′×5′ CU550 model for 1–2 people. Additional approximately 5′×7′, 5′×8′, and 6′×7′ Pure Cube configurations are available. Depending on the selected model, the available saunas accommodate approximately 1–4 people. The 6′-deep model includes a two-tier L-shaped bench arrangement, while the 5′-deep models include straight two-tier benches.
